HCC welcomed Easter with our annual celebration of of international culture and diversity, through music, song and prayer. National costumes from Africa to Fiji, USA to UAE, France and GB were represented. (There was even - if you look closely - an unofficial visit from fairyland).

Pastor Deborah of HCC was invited to co-ordinate this year's Walk of Witness through the centre of Staines. The annual event brings the message of Easter to the people of Staines through sermon, song and hot cross bun. The pastors, priests and ministers were joined in prayer by the Salvation Army and a healthy congregation despite the blustery rain.

HCC celebrates mother's day with afternoon tea

Waiter service for the mothers of HCC

A truly scrumptious afternoon tea was enjoyed by HCC on Mothering Sunday. The mothers were served by elegantly attired gentleman and catered for by Barbie and an army of cooks, washer-uppers and, believe it or not, chandelier assemblers and hangers (?!). The afternoon was a huge success with an immense quantity of tea and cake consumed (special mention  for Joanna's maple extravaganza). It was also lovely to see the mothers and children from the small beginnings playgroup attend. They were very welcome. Now, time to take up jogging again... (GO TO GALLERY)

New Website for HCC

We have a new website.

After a long gestation welcome to our new, hopefully slicker and more informative, HCC website. As is always the case, it is a work in progress, there will be missing info and occasional errors, debates about design and what could be done better. Please be patient and please let us know what you think. Speak to Mark or use the contact form for more detailed feedback.
